When it comes to water usage, we highly recommend using distilled water to prolong the life of your steamer and prevent mineral build-up caused by hard water (tap water). It's also best practice to drain the excess water from the tank and reservoir after each use to extend the steamer's lifespan and prevent mineral accumulation, as well as to avoid water spills during storage.

The steam hose is made with dual-insulated material to regulate temperature. Initially, the hose may feel stiff, but it will become softer as you start using the steamer. The hose has a double-lock system for secure attachment – first, insert the hose into the unit, hold it from the base, and twist it clockwise in 2 full cycles. Once the hose is locked in place, pull it up to ensure it's tightly secured before using the steamer.

While the steamer has an auto temperature regulation that stops producing heat once the water runs out, it does not have an auto shut-off feature. Therefore, it's important to remember to turn off the unit manually when the steaming is complete.
